"Granito: How to nail a dictator" is nominated for a special prize within the frame of DOK Leipzig granted by Stiftung Friedliche Revolution.
This is a Leipzig based foundation (literally translated "peaceful revolution") dedicated to the changes that took place in Eastern Germany 1989 which resulted in the Fall of the Wall. The prize is donated for the best documentary film dealing with the subject of democracy and is endowed with prize money of 5000 €. The award ceremony for this special prize is taking place Friday, October 21, 7 pm at Nikolaikirche Leipzig.
