Pamela Yates, Director …is the recipient of a 2008 Guggenheim Fellowship. She is the Director of the Sundance Award winning “When the Mountains Tremble”, the Producer of the Emmy Award winning “Loss of Innocence”, and the Executive Producer of the Academy Award winning “Witness to War”.
She is currently directing “The Reckoning”, a feature length documentary film and educational initiative about the International Criminal Court. Filming is taking place on 4 continents and in 6 languages. Most recently she directed “State of Fear” (2005), a feature length documentary that tells the epic story of Peru’s 20-year “war on terror” based on the findings of the Peruvian Truth and Reconciliation Commission. “State of Fear” has been translated into 48 languages and broadcast in 157 countries. Before that she directed “Presumed Guilty”, a two hour primetime PBS special about the ethical and moral dilemmas faced by the San Francisco public defenders in their quest for justice. She produced, directed and co-wrote “Cause for Murder”, which was commissioned by the PBS international series “Wide Angle” (2002). The film explores the cost of political bravery in the lives and deaths of two young Mexican lawyers, Digna Ochoa and Marigeli Tamés. In 2000 she produced and directed “Brotherhood of Hate” a study of violent white supremacy, broadcast on the Showtime Networks. “Brotherhood of Hate” and “Cause for Murder” were both co-productions with The New York Times.
Pamela also produced and directed (with Peter Kinoy) a trilogy of films about poor peoples’ movements in America called “Living Broke in Boom Times”. The films were: “Takeover”, (Official selection Sundance 1991) “Poverty Outlaw”, (Official selection Sundance 1995) and the Independent Television Service presentation “Outriders” on PBS (1999). She directed what is thought to be the first music video made in China, “No More Disguises”, with troubajor Ciu Jian, which was filmed in Tianamen Square at the dawn of the democracy movement. It was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 10 best music videos of 1989, and had its U.S. premiere at the New York Film Festival’s opening night.
Pamela is a co-founder of Skylight Pictures, Inc. She is a member of the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) and The Writers Guild of America (WGA).

Peter Kinoy, Editor...has worked for twenty-five years in the New York media industry as Producer and Editor. He is currently working on "The Reckoning", a documentary film and educational initiative about the International Criminal Court. His most recent work is "State of Fear", a feature-length documentary about Peru's "war on terror" completed in January 2005. "Presumed Guilty", about the role of Public Defenders in the U.S. criminal justice system, was broadcast nationally on PBS in the fall 2002 and presented at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival. He edited and co-wrote "Cause for Murder", for the PBS international series "Wide Angle"(2002). In 1999 Kinoy produced and edited the ITVS presentation "Outriders". He produced and edited "When the Mountains Tremble" that won a Special Jury Prize at The Sundance Film Festival, and "Teen Dreams" (official Sundance selection 1995) that pioneered self-documentation with small format cameras. With Pamela Yates, Kinoy co-produced and edited "Takeover" (broadcast on PBS 1991) and "Poverty Outlaw" (Official Sundance Selection 1997).
Kinoy also edits a full range of commercial productions. His editing credits frequently appear on PBS documentary specials, on Nova and on the BBC. He was an editor on "Louis Theroux's Weird Weekend", "Trauma - Life in the ER", and the Showtime documentary "Brotherhood of Hate". Kinoy recently constructed video portions for "The Noise of Time", the acclaimed theater piece on Dmitri Shostakovich. Peter Kinoy has taught editing at Columbia University, and at the International School of Film and Television in Cuba. He is a member of The Media College of the University of the Poor and also a member of The Writers Guild, East.

Paco de Onís, Producer ...grew up in several Latin American countries and is multi-lingual (Spanish, Portuguese, English, Italian, French). He recently produced a film about the International Criminal Court titled "The Reckoning" (world premiere at Sundance 09), accompanied by a an audience engagement project promoting global rule of law, IJCentral. Prior to the ICC project, he produced "State of Fear", a Skylight Pictures film about Peru's 20-year "war on terror" based on the findings of the Peruvian Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Now he is producing Granito, a documentary puzzle about historical memory.
Paco has produced documentaries for PBS ("On Our Own Terms" with Bill Moyers), National Geographic ("Secrets from the Grave"), New York Times Television ("Police Force", "Paramedics"), and MSNBC ("Edgewise" with John Hockenberry). He was also a news producer for two internet companies, the Feedroom, a broadband news delivery site, and StarMedia, a web site focused on Latin American affairs. Previous to producing television documentaries and news reports for internet media sites, he created music festivals in South America & the Caribbean, renovated and operated an arts/performance theater in Miami Beach, (The Cameo Theater) and owned and operated a Spanish-style tapas tavern in a 500-year old colonial house in Cartagena, Colombia.
